Living with Grief

Life can change completely in the blink of an eye after the loss of someone central to your world. For me, that moment came when my dad passed away, just two months before my eighth birthday. Words can never fully capture what life has been since then. It has been 25 years of learning, surviving, and slowly finding ways to live alongside grief.

In this section, I share my story and the lessons I’ve gathered from the perspective of an 8-year-old child, through my teenage and young adult years, into adulthood, as grief evolved and reshaped my life. My hope is to inspire and support others so no one feels they have to walk this journey alone.
